About DeskAmigo
Our Story: Building a Better Workspace, Together
How It All Began
DeskAmigo was born out of a simple observation: remote workers were struggling to find welcoming spaces to work, while venues faced a wave of "no laptops" policies and tensions with lingering guests. Our founders, a group of remote workers and former café employees, experienced these challenges from both sides. They felt the frustration of being turned away or unwelcome in cafés during off-peak hours as workers, and they understood the operational struggles of venues dealing with overstaying guests. They saw an opportunity to bridge this gap, creating a platform that transforms underused venue spaces into vibrant, productive hubs for remote workers. With a vision to foster harmony between workers and venues, DeskAmigo was launched to reinvent how and where we work.
Our Mission
At DeskAmigo, our mission is to empower remote workers to work anywhere, anytime, while helping venues thrive. We’re combating the growing divide between remote workers and local businesses by creating a seamless ecosystem where everyone wins. Remote workers find the closest, best spots to work for exactly the time they need, paying fair rates for their stay. Venues monetize their underused spaces during off-peak hours, turning quiet times into opportunities. We’re here to make the world a more connected, productive, and welcoming place—one workspace at a time.
Who We Serve
DeskAmigo is built for the modern remote worker—freelancers, digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and professionals who crave flexibility and community. Our platform is designed for those who want to escape the isolation of home offices or the restrictions of traditional workspaces. At the same time, we partner with venues that want to embrace remote workers and turn their spaces into thriving hubs. Our early adopters are the trailblazers of this movement: workers who value convenience and connection, and venue owners who see the potential in reimagining their spaces. Together, we’re shaping the future of work.
