O Hotel Inglaterra foi uma excelente surpresa. Tem uma ótima relação qualidade-preço, um espaço muito agradável e a piscina faz toda a diferença, sobretudo no verão. Como ponto de melhoria, senti alguma falta de comunicação interna. Antes da estadia troquei várias mensagens com a equipa sobre opções sem glúten e obtive resposta, mas essa informação não chegou ao staff no local. O staff nem tinha informação de que íamos lá estar. Além disso, não é claro que, durante o verão, o restaurante está encerrado e apenas o bar serve almoços, com uma oferta bastante mais reduzida. No meu caso, isso acabou por limitar bastante as opções disponíveis, além do menu ser mesmo super diferente do que esperava, uma vez que consultei previamente o menu do restaurante. Ainda assim, a poke que acabei por escolher estava muito boa e a experiência, no geral, foi positiva. Com uma comunicação mais clara sobre o funcionamento sazonal do restaurante e uma melhor passagem de informação à equipa, a experiência seria ainda melhor.

I really enjoyed spending the day here. It was such a nice change from working at home! The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is calm, and I had no problem working from a table by the pool. It was actually really peaceful and easy to stay focused. The 3-course lunch was honestly delicious, and I appreciated that they provide pool towels, so you can easily go for a swim during a break. Overall, it's a great place if you want to mix productivity with a relaxing day by the pool. I'd definitely come back!

A few suggestions for the future would be to ensure that staff are fully informed about what is included in the coworking package for digital nomads. During my visit, the team seemed unsure about the details, which created some confusion. Having a clear menu or information sheet available either digitally or in print would help both guests and staff understand exactly what is included without any uncertainty. Regarding the food, we ordered the paella and unfortunately the rice was burnt. While the overall flavor was still good, serving a dish when the rice is clearly overcooked can come across as careless. As a chef, I understand that timing is critical, and if a dish does not meet the intended standard, it may be better not to serve it. Another improvement would be to add a few charging points or accessible power outlets around the outdoor areas. For guests who want to work by the pool, having a convenient place to charge a laptop or phone would make the experience even better. That said, everything else was excellent. The pool, a towel being provided, cleanness, the views, and the overall atmosphere were fantastic. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my visit. The coworking space was comfortable and well designed, with quiet areas available for calls or focused work when needed. The menu offered a nice selection, the food was enjoyable overall, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. I had a wonderful day and will definitely be back.
